SEO Audit and Remediation for texaslsn.org - Return On Now

SEO Audit and Remediation for texaslsn.org

Proposal presented by: Return On Now

Good afternoon Ben,

Thanks for the thoughtful discussion about your SEO challenges for the texaslsn.org domain.

As with all CMS migrations, I highly recommend a post-mortem SEO audit to understand what issues arose when you pushed the new website live. As you are representing a nonprofit, I am offering discounted rates on all work in this proposal.

I’m also proposing a block of 10 hours to be pre-approved for remediation. These hours will only be used if necessary, and any overage beyond 10 hours would need to be approved by your team in writing before we would proceed further. You will only be billed for actual hours used in any case.

Once we sort out these basic SEO items, I recommend we turn our attention to AI optimization (AEO at a minimum, and GEO if budget permits). That said, we can discuss these items later as a second phase in this process.

When you are ready to get started, please click the “Accept” button at the very top right corner of this proposal. I look forward to hearing back and next steps on this effort.

Best Regards,
Tommy Landry, President

Scope of Services

Premium SEO Audit

Return On Now provides SEO Audit services that can scale up or down in size/scope according to the complexity and size of the client website. Audits are priced according to website size, and your number of URLs places you in the Premium Tier. The Premium tier includes all line items from our Basic SEO Audit, plus additional activities that align with your stated needs from when we talked. Premium Audits are normally priced at $2,500, but we are discounting this service 40% due to your organization being a nonprofit. BASIC SEO AUDIT Typical components of this audit include: 1. Meta Review: We analyze whether you have any issues with your page titles and meta descriptions. Specific observations to expect include missing meta elements, duplicates, and fields that have too many or too few characters for Google and other search engines. 2. Content Review: We analyze the content to ensure that you do not have duplicates across the website, and also to ensure each page has sufficient word count to get on Google’s radar for indexing and ranking. 3. Image Audit: We review all images to ensure proper use of Image Alt-Text fields, and also to confirm that there are no broken images on the site, which can hinder progress with SEO. 4. Performance Assessment: We run a Page Speed test to ensure the website meets minimum standards for load time, which is a key factor in Google’s ranking algorithm. We will also analyze your Core Web Vitals scores to see if there are page experience issues limiting your upside on organic results. 5. On-Site Link Review: We run a complete crawl of the website to identify any broken links or pages (i.e. 404 errors), which should be addressed immediately to avoid potential negative impact to ranking. 6. Google Search Console Review: We will dive into your Google Search Console to determine if there are any additional indexing or crawling issues that need to be addressed. PREMIUM SEO AUDIT For websites with more than 50 pages (or clients who wish to upgrade even on smaller sites), we dig deeper into the technical and other pieces of SEO beyond what is covered in our Basic SEO Audit package. This process is more manual, and hence more thorough, but requires additional investment to account for the hands-on nature of the project. In addition to all of the above areas, the Premium SEO Audit goes deeper in the following areas: 1. Google Analytics and Google Search Console Review: We dig into your GA and GSC platforms to ensure that your tracking codes are deployed correctly and both platforms are collecting data successfully. This is a precursor to the rest of the audit. 2. Generation of Link Inventory: Off-Page SEO accounts for as much as 60% of your success in ranking your website. As such, we provide a link inventory, which lists out all domains linking to your website, for your own review and assessment of link quality. 3. Technical SEO Review: We did deeper in technical areas of SEO during the Premium Audit, including items such as your robots.txt tile, XML Sitemap, blocked resources, manual penalty review, and volume of pages indexed.

Remediation - 10 Hour Block

Until we complete the SEO audit, we do not have a good gauge of how broad and deep any issues you're facing are. As such, we are proposing that you pre-approve a block of hours for remediation, which we are offering at a discounted rate of $200 / hour (20% discount off standard $250 rate). We will only bill you for any hours actually accrued during remediation. Should we determine we need more than 10 hours, we will touch base and request written approval. We will in no circumstances go beyond the 10 hours without prior authorization.

Your Investment

SEO Audit (40% discount from $2,500 normal rate)
$1500
Remediation: Block of 10 hours (Discounted 20% from $250 normal rate)
$2000

Total: $3500
